Recommendation
Pass a Resolution authorizing the City Manager or City Manager's designee to: 1) execute a an agreement through June 30, 2019 to provide emergency medical services personnel to Golden 1 Center; and 2) authorizing the City Manager to adjust the Fire Department's operating revenue and expenditure budgets based on the actual revenues received for providing reimbursable services to the Golden 1 Center as outline under this agreement.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: In July 2016, the Fire Department entered into an agreement with the Golden 1 Center to provide medical services personnel able to perform emergency medical treatment and transport as necessary at events on site. This agreement was established per section 4.7 of City Agreement 2014-0514 with Sacramento Downtown Arena, LLC that states the City shall provide Municipal Services for each event at the Golden 1 Center. Per the agreement, medical services are considered Municipal Services and those services will be reimbursed based on cost recovery to provide the service.

Policy Considerations: Per the guidelines set forth by the City of Sacramento Code 3.04.020 with regard to income agreements over $100,000 shall be approved by the City Council.

Economic Impacts: None.

Environmental Considerations: This report concerns administrative activities that will not have a significant effect on the environment and does not constitute a "project" as defined by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) [CEQA Guidelines Section 15061 (b) (3); 15378 (b) (2)].
