Pass a Motion: 1) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to City Agreement No. 2020-1171 with Salaber Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,500,000, for a new total not-to-exceed amount of $3,120,000; 2) resetting City Manager's authority to issue supplemental agreements for City Agreement No. 2020-1171; 3) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to City Agreement No. 2020-1168 with TRC Engineers, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,500,000, for a new total not-to-exceed amount of $3,000,000; and 4) resetting City Manager's authority to issue supplemental agreements for City Agreement No. 2020-1168.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: On-Call Master Services Agreements are used to supplement City inspection staff to provide for the timely inspection of capital improvement projects, encroachment permits, and private development projects during periods of peak workload. These services include street resurfacing, park improvements, and SMUD, PG&E and AT&T constructed public utility rehabilitations. Consultants can provide the needed services on short notice through individual task orders within an on-call agreement.
