Authorization for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency to Apply
for Grant Funding Under the Transformative Climate Communities Program, as
Administered by the Strategic Growth Council in the Amount of $300,000 for the
West Broadway Neighborhood

Recommendation: Adopt a City Council Resolution authorizing the Sacramento
Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) as lead applicant and the City of
Sacramento as its co-applicant, to: 1) submit an application to the California Strategic
Growth Council for a Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Planning Grant in the
Amount of $300,000; 2) if awarded, delegate authority to SHRA, as lead applicant, to
execute all necessary grant-related documents in coordination with the City of
Sacramento; 3) authorize SHRA and the City of Sacramento to enter into a
Memorandum of Understanding related to administration of the TCC grant; and 4)
make related findings.

amount of $397,780 and extending for a one-year term, for a total not-to-exceed term
of 4 years; and 2) ratifying all previous contract amendments executed pursuant to the
City Manager’s delegated authority to execute contract amendments and thus resetting
the City Manager’s or designee’s authority to issue change orders for City Agreement
No. PRC002217.
