Issue Detail: The 2024 League of California Cities (League) Cal Cities Annual Conference is scheduled from October 16 through 18, 2024 in Long Beach, California. During the conference, League membership will consider and act on resolutions that establish League policy. Each City Council must designate a voting delegate and may, if they wish, designate up to two alternate voting delegates. The recommendation is to designate Councilmember Lisa Kaplan as voting delegate and City Manager Howard Chan as alternate voting delegate as allowable by the League of California Cities bylaws.
