Recommendation
Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution directing the Supervising Engineer of the Department of Public Works or designee to prepare and file annual reports for Fiscal Year 2026/27 with the City Clerk for the following assessment districts in accordance with the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 and City Code Chapter 3.124: Citywide Landscaping and Lighting District, Village Garden Landscape Maintenance District, Power Inn Road Maintenance District, Neighborhood Landscaping District, Neighborhood Lighting District, Willowcreek Maintenance Assessment District, Northside Subdivision Maintenance District, Laguna Creek Maintenance District, and Neighborhood Water Quality District.

Issue Detail: Sacramento City Code Chapter 3.124 and the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (California Streets and Highways Code ? 22500 et seq.) require that the City Council order the preparation of an annual engineer's report for City maintenance assessment districts (Districts) and order the filing of such report with the City Clerk.
Districts formed under the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972:
* Citywide Landscaping and Lighting District
* Village Garden Landscape Maintenance District
* Power Inn Road Maintenance District
* Neighborhood Landscaping District
* Neighborhood Lighting District
