Description/Analysis
IssueDetail
Issue Detail: The Program Developer and Program Coordinator classification specifications are revising the experience requirement from “…providing general guidance over the activities of children, teenagers, AND adults” (emphasis added) to “…providing general guidance over the activities of children, teenagers, AND/OR adults” (emphasis added). The revision ensures that the minimum qualification experience requirements for Program Developer and Program Coordinator classifications are appropriate and do not inadvertently limit the pool of available talent. By modifying this requirement, the City aims to facilitate the recruitment of a broader range of qualified candidates, thereby strengthening its workforce.
