IssueDetail

Issue Detail: Young people looking to get connected with local employers are invited to attend the City of Sacramento’s annual Youth Resource & Employment Fair coordinated by the Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to Noon. The annual event empowers youth by providing them with meaningful employment opportunities and connects them with valuable pathways to professional growth and success. The event will be located at City Hall (915 I St.) and open to young people ages 13 to 24. Registration will be available onsite starting at 9:15 a.m.

Regional Transit continues to be a collaborative partner by sponsoring the Youth Resource & Employment Fair providing free transportation to and from the event. The flyer is your ticket to ride public transportation including light rail or bus.

We anticipate another full house at this year’s event as over 800 young people were in attendance last year. Registered attendees receive a free swag bag while supplies last and have an opportunity to complete an online event evaluation to be entered into a raffle.
