Issue Detail: Like other City commissions and committees, the Sacramento Community Police Review Commission (Commission) maintains, as a standing item, a follow-up log to organize and track items that may be considered in the future. The follow-up log details each item, the relevant 2025 Work Plan issue, and gives an estimate of when staff expect to bring the item back to the Commission. Commission members are welcome to add items to the log during each meeting.
The Commission meetings are staffed by the City Clerk’s office. As such, it is up to the Commissioners to prioritize the items that will guide the work for each year. As the Commission continues efforts to organize itself and identify the areas of concern that the Commission will address for the 2025 calendar year, the Chair will agendize a standing agenda item at the end of each meeting for Commissioners to request or make recommendations for topics of discussion for the following month’s meeting.
