Issue Detail: The Commission's 2026 Work Plan directs the Outreach and Events Ad Hoc Committee to plan a Military Equipment Use outreach meeting. The annual community forum is intended to provide residents with an accessible opportunity to learn about SPD's military equipment use, ask questions, and provide input before the MEU report is moved forward to the PP&E Committee.

Policy Considerations: The Sacramento Community Police Review Commission (SCPRC) was established to provide community participation in reviewing and recommending police department policies, practices, and procedures and to monitor the implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of City policing initiatives and programs. The Commission also advises the City Council and makes recommendations on policing policies, procedures, and best practices.
