Recommendation: 1) Conduct interviews of applicants to the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Commission for Seat A: a member appointed in the manner provided by the Charter of the City of Sacramento for the appointment of members of City boards, commissions, and agencies; 2) discuss candidates’ eligibility; and 3) recommend appointment to Mayor and Council unless additional discussion in a subsequent meeting is needed.

When the application period has closed, the Personnel and Public Employees Committee conducts interviews of the applicants and forwards nominations to the Mayor for appointment. The appointment is then confirmed by the whole council.
