IssueDetail
Issue Detail: The City's 2026 milestone schedule identifies regular SCPRC meetings at 5:30 p.m. on September 14, October 5, and November 9, 2026. The milestone schedule does not list a December regular meeting.
The Commission has several remaining 2026 work items, including completion of Military Equipment Use follow-up, review of the Sacramento County Grand Jury report, continued ad hoc committee work, and development of the 2026 Annual Report and proposed 2027 priorities. The Commission should consider whether the remaining scheduled meetings provide sufficient time to complete these items.

The Commission also advises and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding policing policies, procedures, and best practices.
