IssueDetail

Issue Detail: The Mayor and City Council are committed to performing regular annual reviews of its appointive officers.

The annual report and appointed officer evaluation process is intended to move forward to the City Council. The City Manager performs executive management duties as the Chief Executive Officer of the City by directing and overseeing the administrative operations, programs, and services of all municipal departments under their jurisdiction; performing highly advanced administrative and policy support tasks as prescribed by the City Charter, City Code, State Law, and Council resolutions; initiating, developing, and aligning citywide operational policies and strategic programs to execute Council priorities; appointing and directing department heads and executive management staff; preparing and presenting the annual operating and capital improvement budgets; executing contracts, leases, and agreements on behalf of the City; enforcing all local ordinances and state laws; and providing highly responsible, complex policy recommendations and administrative support to the Mayor and City Council.
