Issue Detail: Pursuant to the Railyards Public Financing Authority (formerly “Stadium Area Public Financing Authority”) Resolution #2019-0001, the legislative body shall hold its regular meetings “in the same location and on the same day as the City Council’s regular meetings.” Sacramento City Charter Section 31 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings and provide the time, place, and manner of holding its meetings by annual resolution. The City Council adopted its 2026 meeting schedule on July 28, 2026.
The 2026 regular meeting schedule for the Railyards Public Financing Authority is attached for review and approval. All proposed meetings occur at 9:30 a.m. in the same location and on the same day as the City Council’s regular meetings.
The attached meeting schedule also includes the following Winter and Summer Council Recesses:
Summer Recess - June 29, 2026, through July 17, 2026
Winter Recess - December 21, 2026, through December 31, 2026

Policy Considerations: Approving an annual meeting schedule of this legislative body is consistent with the Railyards Public Financing Authority Resolution #2019-0001, City Charter section 31, the Council Rules of Procedure, and the Ralph M. Brown Act.
