Recommendation: Pass a Motion authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute Supplemental Contract No. 4 to Contract No. 2023-1368 with BM Enterprises Inc. dba California Auto Body for vehicle body repair services for light duty vehicles in the City's fleet, increasing the contract by $1,250,000 for a revised contract total not-to-exceed amount of $2,000,000.

Issue Detail: The Department of Public Works, Fleet Management Division, is requesting Council approval for additional funding for light duty body repair services provided by BM Enterprises dba California Auto Body. As part of Fleet's services to Departments, body damage is repaired through a third-party vendor. On June 13, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution 2023-0194 to suspend competitive bidding to use a Request for Proposal process (RFP) to procure on-call body repair services. On July 11, 2023, Fleet Management issued the RFP B24153311002 for On-Call Body Repair Services for Light Duty, Heavy Duty, and Fire Apparatus and Emergency Vehicles. Two responses were received: one from Kearney's for all services, and one from Downtown Ford for Light Duty, Fire Apparatus and Emergency Vehicles. Fleet Management evaluated and ranked the proposals, awarding contracts to both vendors.
