Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment (YPCE) is seeking approval to award a contract to Parker Landscape Development, Inc. in the amount of $451,828. Granite Park Soccer Fencing and Concrete Improvements project includes
installation of new 6' fencing around the newly renovated all-weather field, boulders to limit vehicle access to the natural turf field, grading for the new walkway, concrete pavement, the removal of trees, a mow curb under fencing, and irrigation modifications.

A formal bid process for this work was completed, and Parker Landscape Development, Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder.

The remove of trees includes one 4" Hackberry, Celtis occidentalis, two 22" and 10" Chinese Pistache, Pistacia chinensis, five 29", 18", 16", 24" and 23" Cottonwood, Populus fremontii, and one 7" Valley Oak, Quercus lobata trees. A tree rem...
