Issue Detail: The Community Prosecutor Program (CPP) was established in 2006 and is a long-term partnership between the District Attorney's Office, law enforcement, public agencies, and private organizations. Under the CPP, the authority of the District Attorney's Office is used to solve problems, provide public safety, and enhance the quality of life in a targeted Downtown area. The program successfully leverages funding among the City of Sacramento, Sacramento Regional Transit (RT) and the Downtown Sacramento Partnership (DSP).
The following is a projected organizational breakdown of the partnership through calendar year 2028.
