Recommendation: Pass a Motion: 1) authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute Contract Amendment No. 5 to City Agreement No. PRC002778 with Azevedo's Landscape & Maintenance for landscape maintenance services to extend the contract through June 30, 2027, and increase the total not-to-exceed amount to $2,892,301 over a five-year term; and 2) resetting the City Manager's or designee's authority to execute contract amendments.

Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment (YPCE) is responsible for providing quality landscape maintenance services across city parks.
Given the commitment to providing a 7-day mowing cycle on a citywide basis, and ensuring a balanced workload for current staff, supplemental services are needed to address the 31 parks listed in the non-professional services agreement by having the contractor provide ongoing landscape maintenance services.
On May 7, 2024, (File ID: 2024-00809) and July 30, 2024 (File ID: 2024-01305) City Council authorize the City Manager or designee, to execute Contract PRC002778 and Amendment No.1 with Azevedo's Landscape & Maintenance for landscape maintenance. Amendments No. 2 to 4 were executed, increasing the total not-to-exceed amount to $2,751,048.
