Description/Analysis
IssueDetail
Issue Detail: The request is to vacate the public alley known as Chinatown Alley, located adjacent to the former Mary Ann's Bakery industrial buildings, to facilitate implementation of the approved Alhambra Redevelopment Project (P24-007). The project consists of a six-story, approximately 420,165-square-foot mixed-use development on a 2.19-acre site that encompasses the public alley proposed for abandonment and all adjacent parcels comprising the overall project site.

The approved redevelopment includes 302 multi-family residential units, approximately 2,400 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and 344 on-site parking spaces.
