Issue Detail: The purpose of this item is to receive information from Office of Arts and Culture staff regarding the relaunch and rebranding of artlook(r) Sacramento, an online platform for local schools and youth programs to connect with local arts education providers. This discussion will support the Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy Commission (ACCEC) in staying an informed body on matters that may address and influence the continued implementation of the Creative Edge Plan.
The artlook(r) Sacramento website features enhanced support to Sacramento's growing arts education network, linking teaching artists and cultural organizations with city schools and out-of-school youth programs throughout the region.
School administrators, principals, and arts coordinators can access the platform and preview the offerings of arts organizations and teaching artists registered in artlook(r) Sacramento. Directors of summer and out-of-school programs can search for experienced arts providers who can engage youth of all ages in high-quality, creative programming.
