Issue Detail: At the April 14, 2025, the Sacramento Community Police Review Commission’s (SCPRC or Commission) meeting, the Chair created three ad-hoc committees: the Engagement and Function Committee, the Community Policing and Response Efficiency Committee, and the Resource Allocation and Efficiency at Impacting Public Safety Committee.
The members of the Engagement and Function Ad Hoc Committee are Commissioners Korbs,
Sample, Salazar, and the Chair.
The members of the Community Policing and Response Efficiency Ad Hoc Committee are Commissioners Buenrostro, Johnson, Lewis, and the Chair.
The members of the Resource Allocation and Efficiency at Impacting Public Safety Ad Hoc Committee are Commissioners Brookins, Buenrostro, Johnson, and Lewis.
The ad-hoc committees align with the three focus areas in the 2025 SCPRC Workplan. This will be an opportunity for each ad-hoc to report on any work occurring thus far, align efforts, and continue to gather feedback from the full Commission.
Ad hoc committees automatically dissolve one year after their first meeting, unless it is dissolved earlier under Rule 12.C.3.a. (City Council Rules Chapter 11, section C.3.b)
