Issue Detail: Discuss the proposed location and artists for Phase 1 of the Temporary Public Art Application (TPAA) program review for a temporary mural to be located at the Lawrence Park Restroom facilities, 5130 McGlashan Street, Sacramento. As a community inspired project, the applicant wishes to paint images she shared with community on the bathroom facility at the park. As part of the City's Temporary Public Art Policy, which guides the TPAA process, the Commission should review, discuss, and vote recommending approval or disapproval of the application. The application is currently circulating with all affected divisions within Public Works, Parks, and Facilities. If the location is approved, the applicant will be invited to submit designs and City staff will prepare a draft license agreement. The Commission would then revisit this application during the Phase 2 review for final approval.
