Issue Detail: As a community inspired project highlighting diverse cultures around Lawrence Park, the applicant, Brenyanna Gaulman, wishes to display a mural she designed through conversations with her community members and her own experience as a resident in the neighborhood. The Applicant's Phase 1 Application was recommended for approval by the Commission in March 2026. As part of the Art in Public Places program TPAA program, the Commission should now review and discuss the Phase 2 application and mural design. With Commission recommended approval, APP will execute a license agreement for the Applicant to display the mural. As a component of the TPAA program, the applicant will be responsible for all costs, provide the required insurance for installation, and be responsible for maintenance of the mural.
