Issue Detail: The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) located at the Crocker Art Museum provides backup power to critical building systems during a commercial power outage, including the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and environmental controls, building automation system (BAS), security systems, and monitoring equipment. These systems are essential to maintaining stable temperature and humidity conditions required for the preservation of artwork, as well as ensuring continued facility operations and security.

The City of Sacramento and the Crocker Art Museum Association, acting as Co-Trustees of the Crocker Art Museum, adopted a Collections Management Policy on October 8, 2013 that establishes professional standards for the care, preservation, and environmental monitoring of the Museum's collection.
