Adopt a Resolution: 1) approving naming of Woodlake Park Baseball Field as Officer Tara O'Sullivan Memorial Field; 2) establishing new capital projects for: a) Z'Berg Park Sign and Minor Improvements (L19707000); and b) Officer Tara O'Sullivan Memorial Field Sign and Minor Improvements (L19145200); and 3) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to increase the expenditure budgets in: a) Citywide Pool Assessment and Repairs Project (L19706500) by $609,700 from the Park Impact Fees (Fund 3204) available fund balance for Clunie Pool Heater Improvement Project, b) L19707000 by $20,000 from Park Impact Fees (Fund 3204) available fund balance; and c) L19145200 by $20,000 from the Park Impact Fees (Fund 3204) available fund balance.

Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment (YPCE) is recommending that City Council pass a resolution approving naming a baseball field in honor of Officer Tara O'Sullivan, establishing Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and allocate funding as follows:
* Naming of the existing baseball field at Woodlake Park in North Sacramento after the fallen Sacramento Police Officer Tara O'Sullivan is proposed because her life was abruptly taken on June 19, 2019 (see attached bio). The field will be named: Officer Tara O'Sullivan Memorial Field. This naming is consistent with the City of Sacramento Facility Naming Policy. The scope ...
