Pass a Motion confirming board and commission appointments to the following boards and commissions: 1) Capitol Area Development Authority Governing Board - Randall Winston (Seat B); 2) Compensation Commission - Arthur Scotland (Seat A); 3) Ethel MacLeod Hart Trust Fund Advisory Committee - Lynne Stevenson (Seat E) and David Pacheco (Seat G); 4) Parks and Recreation Commission - Terri Kletzman (Seat K); 5) Preservation Commission - William Carter (Seat D); 6) Sacramento Heritage Inc. Issue Detail: As required by City Charter section 230, board and commission appointments made by the Mayor must be confirmed by the City Council.

Commission/Committee Action: After review and consideration by the Personnel and Public Employees Committee or by specific City Council Districts, candidates were nominated and forwarded to the Mayor for appointment, which now requires City Council confirmation. A full list of candidates is outlined in the background section of this report.
