Recommendation
Pass a Motion: 1) awarding an initial one-year non-professional services agreement for the maintenance of the South East Commerce Streetscapes to Roush Landscape Services for a not-to-exceed amount of $55,650 with options to extend the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms, with the total amount not to exceed $166,950; and 2) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute an initial one-year non-professional services agreement for the maintenance of the South East Commerce Streetscapes with Roush Landscape Services for an amount not-to-exceed $55,650 and to exercise options to extend the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms, with the total amount not-to-exceed $166,950, provided there is sufficient funding available in the adopted budgets for the applicable fiscal years.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The Maintenance Services Division of the Department of Public Works has an ongoing need to maintain the landscaping along transportation corridors within the City of Sacramento. City Council approval is necessary to award a non-professional services agreement to Roush Landscape Services.

Policy Considerations: The recommendations in this report are consistent with Sacramento City Code Section 3.56 - Purchasing of Supplies and Services, and Administrative Policy 4101 - Procurement of Non-Professional Services.
