Issue Detail: As required by City Charter section 230, board and commission appointments made by the Mayor must be confirmed by the City Council.

Commission/Committee Action: After review and consideration by the Personnel and Public Employees Committee or by specific City Council Districts, candidates were nominated and forwarded to the Mayor for appointment, which now requires City Council confirmation. A full list of candidates is outlined in the background section of this report.
