Adopt a Resolution: 1) approving content and placement of twenty-four (24) Honorary Street Sign Toppers for Newton Booth Historic District and Poverty Historic District where street sign toppers will be installed in the locations bounded 20th Street, 28th Street , S Street, and V Street within the Newton Booth Neighborhood; and 2) rescinding City Council Resolution No. 2019-0362.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: On September 24, 2019, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2019-0362 which depicted incorrect locations for four (4) street sign toppers. As such, the resolution action was incorrect. This resolution will include exhibits with correct locations for the installation of sign toppers.

Policy Considerations: The proposed action is consistent with Resolution No. 2016-0358 approving the City Honorary Sign Topper Policy, City Code Section 3.76 - Revocable Permits and Resolution No. 81-845 Approving General Provision for Revocable permit.

Economic Impacts: None

Environmental Considerations: In accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that this activity may have a significant effect on the environment and, therefore, the activity is not subject to CEQA.

Sustainability: Not applicable
