Pass a Motion: 1) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute On-Call Professional Services Agreements for Environmental Consulting Services with Geocon Consultants, Inc., Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., and Stratus Environmental, Inc., each for an initial three-year term and up to two additional one-year terms for a total amount not-to-exceed $300,000; and 2) authorizing use of the City Office of Innovation and Economic Development's Request for Qualifications No.EV00000031 issued June 2019 for environmental consulting services to satisfy the competitive selection requirements for these agreements.

Issue Detail: On-call Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), Hazardous Materials Testing, and Remediation professional services agreements are established as "best management practices" to provide timely and more efficient services and are well suited for small to medium service requests. City staff will typically assign work on a rotational basis so that consultants are assigned approximately the same value of available work over the agreement term.
The Facilities and Real Property Management Division is seeking City Council approval to use the Office of Innovation and Economic Development's Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. EV00000031 issued in June 2019 to select consulting firms for environmental services to satisfy the competitive selection requirements for the proposed agreements.
