Recommendation
Pass a Motion authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to: 1) execute a one-year non-professional services agreement for the maintenance of the Riverview Streetscapes with Azevedo's Landscape and Maintenance for an amount not-to-exceed $61,950; and 2) authorize the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to exercise options to extend the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms, with the total amount of the three-year agreement not-to-exceed $203,310.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The Maintenance Services Division of the Department of Public Works has an ongoing need to maintain the landscaping along the transportation corridors within the City of Sacramento. Invitation for Bid No. B20151681009 was issued for maintenance of the Riverview Streetscapes. City Council approval is necessary to award a Non-Professional Services Agreement to Valley Landscapes.

Policy Considerations: The recommendations in this report are consistent with Sacramento City Code Section 3.56 - Purchasing of Supplies and Services, and Administrative Policy 4101 - Procurement of Non-Professional Services.
