1a) Receive and file a report from the Chief of Police and Advance Peace on gang activity; 1b) receive and file a report from the Chief of Police on status of implementation of '8 Can't Wait' initiative; 1c) review, consider, discuss and take action on recommendations from the Police Commission; 1d) review, consider, discuss and take action on recommendations from Mayor on Inspector General; 1e) review, consider, discuss and take action on recommendations from the Mayor on 911 Alternative Response Model; 1f) Review and Pass a Motion Supporting Assembly Bill 1506 (McCarty) and Assembly Bill 2054 (Kamlager); 1g) review, consider, discuss and take action on recommendations from Council and the Community; and 2) direct the City Manager, City Attorney, City Auditor, Director of Public Safety and Accountability, and City Clerk to implement Council direction.
