Description/Analysis

 

Issue Detail: In response to public outcries for police reform, Council Members have provided several proposals to be considered.  Those proposals are included as attachments to this report so that they can be discussed in a public forum during the July 1, 2020 Special Council Meeting on Police Reform.  The city manager may receive guidance from the council as informed by these proposals.

 

Policy Considerations:  Council meetings provide transparent council deliberations and allow public input to the discussion.
