Adopt a Resolution: 1) approving the construction plans and specifications for the Airfield Park Phase 1 Project (L19102100); 2) awarding the Airfield Park Phase 1 Project contract to TJR Resources, Inc. in the amount of $1,618,509; 3) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute the contract; and 4) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to transfer $168,000 from Airfield Park Phase 2 Project (L19102110) in Park Development Impact Fees (Fund 3204) to Airfield Park Phase 1 Project (L19102100).

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment (YPCE) is seeking approval to award a contract to TJR Resources, Inc. for the Airfield Park Phase 1 project. The contract amount is $1,618,509. The improvements will consist of developing 4.4 acres, and includes an irrigation system, shade trees, turf and landscaping, concrete walkways, children's aeronautical themed playgrounds, a group picnic area with shade structure, a park name sign, park rules signs, concrete picnic and game tables, serving table, park benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, two outdoor ping pong tables, two cornhole games, and a drinking fountain. The formal bid process for this project has been completed and TJR Resources, Inc. has been selected as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
