Issue Detail: The 2020 League of California Cities (League) Annual Conference is scheduled from October 7 through 9, 2020 to be held virtually.  During the conference, League membership will consider and act on resolutions that establish League policy.  Each City Council must designate a voting delegate and may, if they wish, designate up to two alternate voting delegates. The recommendation is to designate City Manager Howard Chan as the voting delegate as allowable by the League of California Cities bylaws. There will be no alternate voting delegate.

 

Policy Considerations: This action will comply with the League of California Cities requirement that voting delegates be selected by City Council action.
