Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: Staff recommends Council approve Change Order No. 3 with Florez Paving for the City Agreement No. 2019-0751, to add additional quantities required due to changes identified in the field such as incompatible existing water meter boxes, discovery of unexpected existing water services, and existing materials that do not meet current standards.

Policy Considerations: This Change Order exceeds the City Manager's approval authority and requires Council approval.

Economic Impacts: This Change Order is expected to create 0.28 total jobs (0.16 direct jobs and 0.12 jobs through indirect and induced activities) and create $43,740 in total economic output ($27,570 of direct output and another $16,170 of output through indirect and induced activities).

The indicated economic impacts are estimates calculated using a calculation tool developed by the Center for Strategic Economic Research (CSER).
