Description/Analysis
Issue Detail: The City Council has made clear, through multiple actions, its commitment to prioritize and implement strategies, programs, and projects that promote inclusive economic and community development throughout our City. To achieve this, the City must focus its support and investments to strengthen our people, business, and place capacities.
Following the work of the City's Project Prosper initiative and the regional partners work with the Brookings Institution, the City embarked on the development of a ScaleUp Sacramento, an Inclusive Economic Development Action Agenda ("ScaleUp Sacramento", Attachment 4) with a consulting team led by RW Ventures. The document endeavors to establish an overall vision and economic development framework, by translating regional market analysis to inclusive economic growth strategies and initiatives.
