Issue Detail: Under Sacramento City Charter section 176 prior to adopting a final map, the commission shall hold at least eight public meetings, including one public meeting in each existing council district. The attached 2021 Sacramento Independent Redistricting Commission Meeting Schedule Calendar proposes meetings generally be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the City of Sacramento Council Chamber as shown. Meetings in each existing council district will be in addition to the attached calendar.
