Pass a Motion: 1) awarding a nonprofessional services agreement for mobile vehicle washing services to Fleetwash, Inc. for a not-to-exceed amount of $95,000 and an initial term through June 25, 2020 with options to extend the agreement for up to three additional one-year terms; and 2) authorizing the City Manager or the City Manager's designee to execute a nonprofessional services agreement for mobile vehicle washing services with Fleetwash, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $95,000 with an initial term through June 25, 2020 and options to extend for up to three additional one-year terms, provided there is sufficient funding available in the adopted budgets for the applicable fiscal years.

Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The Department of Public Works, Parking Services Division has an ongoing need to purchase mobile vehicle washing services for its fleet of parking operations vehicles. City Council approval is necessary to award the nonprofessional services agreement to Fleetwash, Inc. because Parking Services desires to piggyback on a previous solicitation completed by the Fleet Division.

Policy Considerations: The recommendations in this report are in accordance with City Code Chapter 3.56.

Economic Impacts: None

Environmental Considerations: No environmental review is necessary because the recommendations in the report involve the administrative purchase of services and are not considered to be a project in accordance with Section 15378(b)(2) of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines.
