Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment is recommending that City Council adopt a resolution establishing park capital improvement projects as follows:

* Establish a CIP for Oak Park Playground Improvements (L19144700). $80,000 funding from Individual Project Agreement (IPA) with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) fund.

* Establish a CIP for Meadowview Park Improvements (L19146300). $80,000 funding from the IPA with SHRA utilizing CDBG fund.

Policy Considerations: As stated in City Council Resolution No. 2018-0235, Sections 10.2 and 10.10, City Council approval is required to establish (and cancel) CIP projects and make appropriations exceeding $100,000.

Economic Impacts: None

Environmental Considerations: This report concerns fiscal activities that do not constitute a "project" as defined by the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15378(b)(4). Environme...
