Issue Detail: The Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment is seeking approval to award a contract to Saenz Landscape Construction Co. for the Robla, Winner's Circle and Strawberry Manor Park Improvement Project. Saenz Landscape Construction was the low bidder and the contract amount is $290,762. The project included work at three parks: Robla Community Park, Winner's Circle Park and Strawberry Manor Park.
Robla Community Park is an 8-acre community park at 625 Bell Street. The improvements will consist of accessible swing seats, sand play area improvements, bench, trash receptacles, picnic tables, basketball court and parking lot striping, tree planting, and irrigation improvements.
Winner's Circle Park is a 0.84-acre neighborhood park located at 2415 Evergreen Street. The improvements will consist of playground improvements, fabric shade canopy over the playground structure, benches, trash receptacles and picnic tables, basketball court striping, tree planting, and irrigation improvements.
