Description/Analysis

Issue Detail: The vacation request, associated with the Del Paso Heights Sports Complex Project (L19190300), is for various road and public utility easements at 3555 & 3549 Norwood that will facilitate the construction of the project. This Sports Complex will be home to local youth sport leagues and a regional attraction for tournaments. The Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment Department (YPCE) is working with the Public Works Department to process the vacation of easements as well as the lot merger of the five parcels that will constitute the project, per Section 1.1 of the Del Paso Heights Complex at Robertson Park Grant and Construction Agreement.

Policy Considerations: The action recommended in this report is consistent with the City of Sacramento 2035 General Plan and in compliance with the California Streets and Highways Code, Sections 8300-8325.

Economic Impacts: None.

Environmental Considerations:
